About Me

I’ve been working with computers and technology for over 25 years, back when getting online meant listening to a modem scream and supporting systems running Windows 95.

My first tech job was as a dial-up internet technician, helping people connect to the internet and troubleshoot early home PCs. From there, I moved through nearly every layer of IT — not just fixing problems, but understanding why they happen and how to design systems that are reliable, secure, and practical.

Over the years, I’ve worked in:

  • IT helpdesks and support teams
  • Managing and leading helpdesk operations
  • System administration and network engineering
  • Network Operations Centers (NOCs)
  • Red team environments focused on security and resilience
  • IT and cybersecurity assessment and consulting roles

I’ve also spent years building and deploying infrastructure from bare metal in private-sector data centers, working hands-on with servers, networking, storage, and production environments. That experience shapes how I approach every repair, upgrade, and system build — thoughtfully, methodically, and with a strong focus on reliability and security.

Why That Matters for Your Computer

Most computer repair focuses on quick fixes.
My background means I look at systems holistically:

  • What failed
  • Why it failed
  • Whether it’s worth fixing
  • How to reduce risk going forward

As an IT and cybersecurity assessor and consultant, I’ve evaluated systems for weaknesses, misconfigurations, and real-world threats. That same mindset applies to home and personal computers — especially when it comes to protecting personal data, accounts, and identities.

That’s why I emphasize honest diagnostics, clear communication, and documented expectations before any work is done.

Sometimes the right answer is a repair.
Sometimes it’s an upgrade.
Sometimes it’s not fixing it at all — and I’ll tell you when that’s the case.

A Lifelong PC Enthusiast

Outside of professional IT and cybersecurity work, I’m a longtime PC gaming enthusiast who has always built, customized, and tuned my own systems.

From clean productivity machines to high-performance gaming rigs with advanced cooling and RGB, I’ve spent decades working hands-on with hardware — not just reading specs, but working with the results day in and day out.

That combination of enterprise-level experience and enthusiast-level attention to detail is what sets my work apart.
